Nailed It! Cupcake Competition 
Showcase your cupcake decorating talents on November 16 at a competition held across various library locations!
 
The top three winners from each location will advance to the Ultimate Challenge on November 23 at NoBo, where they’ll recreate a cupcake using fondant. Gluten-free options are available. Open to grades 6 -12. Registration required—please register or join the waitlist for only one location.
 
We’re also seeking volunteers to judge the decorating competition! Sign up here!

Zombified Escape Room 
Think you have what it takes to escape the library? Team up with your friends to crack clues, solve puzzles, and survive a zombie apocalypse!
The library has fallen into chaos as a zombie apocalypse unfolds! Dr. Felds was close to discovering a cure, but before she could finish, she turned into a zombie. Now, it’s up to you and your friends to unravel her notes and follow the clues to save the library, Boulder, and... the entire WORLD. Registration required.

Drag Story Hour
 Zarah is back for Drag Story Hour! Enjoy a fabulous and inclusive Storytime featuring books and songs, perfect for all ages. Drag Story Hour takes place every third Saturday—don’t miss it!

Tinker Storytime
Enjoy a themed storytime followed by crafts and tinkering fun! The storytime will be held at the NoBo Library, followed by a STEAM-inspired craft activity in STUDIO 24. Designed for children ages 3 and up (toddlers and preschoolers welcome).

Baby and Caregiver Yoga with Faith Davis 
Caregivers will move gently through a simple series of yoga movements, focusing on connecting with their body and baby. The session includes simple songs, poses that incorporate baby, and a mini-infant massage to create harmony between baby and caregiver. For ages 6 weeks to pre-crawlers. Please note, no crawlers or walkers. Registration required for each caregiver.

Watch "The Secret World of Arrietty" on the big screen at the Canyon Theater! This family-friendly event includes themed activities and snacks. The movie is rated G and runs 1 hour and 34 minutes. English dub with English subtitles. Arrive at 1:30 p.m. to create a themed craft. The movie begins at 2 p.m.

Envision Mornings with Nicole Meline
Begin your day with a powerful mindfulness practice and poetry designed to cultivate focus and joy, followed by a writing session that encourages reflection, goal-setting, and imaginative thinking. Led by wellness expert Nicole Meline, this program will guide you to start your day with intention and creativity.
The first 20 registrants who attend will receive a free copy of Nicole's Envision Planner. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Research Rendezvous Mentor Volunteers Needed!
Register to assist students in December and January as they prepare for their National History Day projects!
Do you have professional research skills? Research Rendezvous is a program that supports students working on National History Day projects by connecting them with experienced volunteers. Volunteers provide one-on-one, 30-minute in-person sessions to assist students in forming research questions, identifying sources, and executing different aspects of their projects.
