Tax Help Colorado
Tax Help Colorado, a program of Mile High United Way, is back at the Main Library this year, providing free tax assistance to individuals and households earning less than $67,000 in 2024. Appointments are available on Tuesdays from 2:15 - 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. through the first week of April. Schedule your appointment today!

Movie Matinee at Meadows
Gather with family and friends for a matinee showing of Encanto! Reading Buddies 
Child reading
The Reading Buddies program fosters positive relationships with reading and writing for children in grades 1–3. Each child is paired with an adult volunteer or a University of Colorado student for 10–12 weekly sessions. During these 90-minute sessions, pairs enjoy games, read books, and write their own stories—all while having fun and building confidence.

Teen Volunteers Needed: Reynolds Reading Pals 
Teens in grades 9–12 are invited to volunteer as "Big Pals," helping younger students (grades K–3) build literacy skills through reading and games!
 
The Spring 2025 Reading Pals program kicks off with a training session on Monday, February 10, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Volunteers will then meet weekly with their Little Pal from February 24 through April 14, every Monday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Reynolds Library.

High School Equivalency Preparation classes in English 
The library provides free in-person HSE preparation classes, including all learning materials. Open to learners aged 18+ who live or work in Boulder County, this class focuses on Reading and Writing subjects. Registration is required and space is limited. Sign up here.
Eligibility: Learners must be 17 or older and live or work in Boulder County. The class covers all four subject tests: math, language arts, social studies, and science.
Registration is required and limited to 15 students.
